• Build up to eat natural unprocessed foods 80% of the time
• Aim to filling only the centre of the plate
• ½ vegetables, ¼ meat, ¼ Low GI grains (wholegrain rice/quinoa/couscous)
• Make healthy eating convenient, keep healthy snacks close at hand.
• Where possible, keep treats away from easily accessable places. i.e. out of sight, out of the office and out of the kitchen cupboards
• Sleep 7 – 9 hrs per night
• Enjoy a relaxation activity 15 mins every day
Exercise
• Walk for 30 minutes every day
• Participate in 2 – 3 activities most weeks
